How to Enter:
To enter this competition the entrants must:

PREMIUM BRAND DISTRIBUTORS SERVICE & PRODUCT SUPPORT CONSOLIDATION ANNOUNCEMENT

Premium Brand Distributors will be consolidating its Cape Town and Centurion Customer Service Centres into a single Customer Service and Product Support strategic business unit.

The transition is currently in progress, with the goal to have all changes incorporated by 1 May 2019. The dedicated Customer Service Centre will be located at our current premises in Grey Owl Village, Centurion.

Any changes arising from the consolidation has directly been communicated with affected customers.

Premium Brand Distributors would like to assure you that the consolidation will not impact our service offering or the quality thereof.

Our geographical Sales Functions will remain unchanged and customers in the Western Cape region will continue to be called on by their respective Key Account Managers.

Premium Group Executive Chairman, Mr. Stefan van der Walt announced the appointment of Mrs. Merenchia Louw as CEO of Premium Holdings and the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors for Premium Brand Distributors.

Premium Brand Distributors, the sole distributor and business partner of international brands like Nikon, Sony photographic and memory, Lexar, Fenix and Go Xtreme Action cameras, announced key organizational changes to its executive team.

The appointment of Mr. Grant Norton as the new Chief Executive Officer and the appointment of a new Board of Directors consisting of Mrs. Merenchia Louw, Mr. Grant Norton – Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Emile Papenfus – Chief Financial Officer and Mr. Stephen Katzef – Sales Director. Mr. Stefan van der Walt will remain as Executive Chairman.

Mr. Stefan van der Walt said that the new Board of Directors will lead the company into a new and focused season of growth. All executives played a vital role in the success of the company the past few years. Through their uniquely different skills and attributes, they will set the scene for the future growth and sustainability of the Company.

Mr. van der Walt thanked Mrs. Louw in her role as Chief Executive Officer of Premium Brand Distributors for her leadership and dedication during very difficult financial times in the country. She introduced and made sure that the Company has a strong focus and foundation in preparation for the growth strategy that the Company will embark upon.

Mrs. Louw will continue to play a vital role in the Group and will also oversee the operations and corporate governance of all the entities in the group.

Financial Year End stock take

Please take note that Premium Brand Distributors will be conducting their Financial Year End stock take from Monday, 3rd July until Wednesday, 5th July 2017.

As a result the warehouse will be closed and will not be able to process any orders until Thursday, the 6th July 2017.

Appointment of CEO

Merenchia-CEO

Premium Brand Distributors announced that the Board of Directors has appointed Merenchia Louw as Chief Executive Officer effective 1 May, 2017. Merenchia succeeds Stefan van der Walt who took up the roll as Executive Chairman in January 2016. Merenchia has been in the role of COO for the past 3 years where she contributed greatly to the success and management of the business.

Premium Brand Distributors is at a time of increasing opportunities in the distribution and brand building of products in the photographic, memory, storage technologies, sport and outdoor markets.

“Merenchia has an outstanding track record of business success,” said Stefan van der Walt, chairman of the board of directors and CEO of the Premium Group. “Her experience in markets ranging from consumer to enterprise make her uniquely qualified to lead Premium Brand Distributors in this challenging economy and into the future.”

Merenchia worked at SAAB for 18 years and held the position of Vice President Business Support before joining the Premium Group in 2014.

Merenchia has an executive team with extensive experience in the technology industry with Grant Norton as Chief Development Officer responsible for sales, marketing and development of new products and Emile Papenfus as Chief Financial Officer responsible for finance and administration.

The demand for Ford Performance and Roush Performance parts and conversion kits from their new place in Centurion is proving very strong and in some cases, demand is outstripping supply.

This is only a month after the official launch, said general manager Grant Askham.

“We are delighted that even in this economic downturn, there are Ford owners who still want to improve the performance or appearance of their Fords,” he said.

One of the problems with performance improvements is that they void manufacturers’ vehicle warranties. What has been arranged for the Ford Performance Parts and Roush Performance fitments is a comprehensive three-year/60 000km engine warranty that will cover the performance upgrades, while the remainder of the original Ford warranty will NOT be voided!

Under the Roush banner, the Mustang is offered with three levels of performance improvements, ranging from cold air induction and an exhaust system (level 1); cosmetic features and an ECU upgrade (level 2) and the fitment of a Roush supercharger and revised suspension (level 3).

Under the Ford Performance Parts banner, upgrades for other Ford models, including the Ranger, Everest, Fiesta ST and Focus ST are available.

The company is currently awaiting approval for Roush performance improvement kits for the Ranger and Everest models, but meanwhile it is selling suspension kits and other accessories for them.

The fitment centre is manned by master technicians and this will be a requirement when other Ford accredited dealers are established to do performance improvements themselves.
